Lifetime Cutlery Corporation Founded
-1986

Lifetime Acquires Hoan Products Ltd.

Lifetime Cutlery purchases Hoan, a supplier of kitchen tools and gadgets, expanding the breadth of its product assortment. The company changes its name to Lifetime Hoan Corporation following the takeover.

-1991

Initial Public Offering

Lifetime Hoan sells 40 percent of the company in an initial public offering strengthening the company’s balance sheet and positioning it for growth.

-1996

Farberware® Brand Acquisition

Lifetime Hoan teams with Syratech Corporation to acquire the Farberware® brand. Lifetime secures rights to the cutlery, kitchen gadgets and barbecue accessories categories.

-2008

Forms Strategic Alliance with Accent-Fairchild Group

The strategic alliance with Accent-Fairchild Group, Inc., positions Lifetime for increased penetration in the Canadian market.

Acquires Mikasa Business

The Company further solidifies its leadership in the tabletop category with the acquisition of Mikasa®, one of the premier brands in bridal and upstairs tabletop. The renowned brand dynamically expands Lifetime’s market share within the category.

Lifetime Forms Housewares Corporation of Asia Limited

Lifetime, Accent-Fairchild, Grupo Vasconia and Fackelmann GmbH Co. KG form Housewares Corporation of Asia Limited to design and manufacture kitchenware products in Asia for sale to customers in North and South America.

 

Lifetime Acquires Creative Tops Limited and Creative Tops Far East

Creative Tops is a leading wholesale provider of tableware, kitchenware and giftware products in the United Kingdom. Together with Lifetime’s established partnerships in North and Central America, this strategic combination creates a global leader in the housewares business with a focus on quality and innovation.

 

Lifetime Acquires a 40% equity interest in GS Internacional S/A (“GSI”)

TGS Internacional S/A (“GSI”) is a leading wholesale distributor of branded housewares products in Brazil that dinnerware, glassware, home décor, kitchenware and barware to over 7,000 customers, including major department stores, housewares retailers and independent shops throughout Brazil.


By partnering with Lifetime and thereby gaining access to our brands, product development capability and global sourcing infrastructure, GSI will have the opportunity to become the leading supplier of high quality, innovative housewares products to retailers in Brazil and other parts of South America.

Lifetime Acquires Certain Assets of Easy Aces, Inc.,

Lifetime Brands, Inc. acquires the business and certain assets of Easy Aces, Inc., which operates under the name Fred® & Friends (“F&F”). F&F designs and markets novelty housewares and other products under the Fred® brand. Fred® products include innovative and fun kitchen tools, tabletop accessories, party goods, personal accessories and desk and tech products.

Lifetime Acquires Kitchen Craft

Lifetime acquires Kitchen Craft, one of the United Kingdom’s leading suppliers of kitchenware products and accessories.


Lifetime Acquires La Cafetière

Lifetime acquires La Cafetiere (UK) Limited from The Greenfield Group Limited and with it, the La Cafetiere business, certain assets relating to the business and exclusive distribution rights.


Lifetime Acquires Built

Lifetime acquires Built NY, a fashion forward designer and marketer of neoprene products including wine totes, lunch bags, food carriers, and baby products.

-2016

Lifetime Acquires Wilton Armetale

Lifetime acquires the brands, product portfolio, and certain other assets of Wilton Armetale. Armetale is a unique aluminum-based alloy that has properties for keeping hot food hot and cold food cold, making it an ideal material for cooking and entertaining.


Lifetime Acquires the Kitchen Division of Focus Products Group

Lifetime acquires the Kitchen Division of Focus Products Group. The division sells a wide variety of kitchenware and bakeware products under the Amco Houseworks®, Chicago™ Metallic and Swing-A-Way® brands.


Lifetime Acquires Copco Product Line

Lifetime acquires the Copco® product line from Wilton Industries. Copco sells a wide variety of thermal and hydration beverageware, tea kettles and kitchen organization products.

Lifetime Acquires Fitz and Floyd

Lifetime acquires the business and assets of Fitz and Floyd. The product assortment includes handcrafted, decoratively designed figurines, centerpieces, and elegant dinnerware and serveware recognized for their high quality and unique style.

Lifetime Acquires Filament Brands

Lifetime acquires Filament Brands creating a premier consumer goods company with over $750 million in net sales and an unparalleled portfolio of powerful brands and iconic licenses.
