1945

Lifetime Cutlery Founded

Milton Cohen partnered with Sam Siegel in 1957 to start a knife factory in Brooklyn under the name Reo Products.

In 1960 Reo Products acquired 1945-founded Lifetime Cutlery Corporation, a larger distributor of knives than Reo. Cohen adopted Lifetime’s name for his company.

1986

Hoan Products LTD. Acquisition

Lifetime Cutlery purchase Hoan, a supplier of kitchen tools and gadgets, expanding the breadth of its product assortment. The company changes its name to Lifetime Hoan Corporation following the takeover.

1990

Farberware® Brand Acquisition

Lifetime Hoan teams with Syratech Corporation to acquire the Farberware® Brand. Lifetime secures rights to the cutlery, kitchen gadgets and barbecue accessories categories.

1991

IPO

Lifetime Hoan sells 40% of the company in an initial public offering strengthening the company's balance sheet and positioning it for growth.

2005

Pfaltzgraff Co. Acquisition

Mikasa Acquisition

Mikasa is a leading provider of dinnerware, crystal stemware, barware, flatware and decorative accessories. Mikasa's products are distributed through department stores, specialty stores and big box chains, as well as on the Internet at www.mikasa.com.

2011

Housewares Corporation of Asia Limited

Lifetime forms Housewares Corporation of Asia Limited. Lifetime, Accent-Fairchild, Grupo Vasconia and Fackelmann GMBH Co. KG form Housewares Corporation of Asia Limited to design and manufacture kitchenware products in Asia for sale to customers in North and South America.

2012

Fred & Friends Acquisition

Fred® Friends designs and markets novelty housewares and other products under the Fred® brand. Fred® products include innovative and fun kitchen tools, tabletop accessories, party goods, personal accessories and desk and tech products.

2014

Kitchen Craft Acquisition

Trading as Kitchen Craft, Thomas Plant is one of the United Kingdom’s leading suppliers of kitchenware products and accessories. Based in Birmingham, the company sells products under well-known proprietary, customer-exclusive and owned label brands.

2016

Wilton Armetale Acquisition

Wilton Armetale was founded in 1892 by the Wilton Family in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Wilton Armetale products are sold in department stores and specialty stores throughout the United States and internationally.

Focus Products Kitchen Division Acquisition

Lifetime acquires Kitchen Division of Focus Products Group. The division sells a wide variety of kitchenware and bakeware products under the Amco Houseworks®, Chicago™ Metallic and Swing-A-Way® brands.

Fitz and Floyd Acquisition

Founded in 1960, Fitz and Floyd (www.fitzandfloyd.com) designs, sources, markets and distributes Fitz and Floyd® and other branded tabletop products and decorative ceramic collections through a diverse array of distribution channels, such as big box retailers, department stores, specialty kitchen and gift shops and e-commerce websites.

Filament Brands Acquisition

Lifetime Brands, Inc. a leading global provider of branded kitchenware, tableware and other products used in the home, today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Filament Brands (“Filament”).

Year & Day Acquisition

Lifetime Brands, Inc. acquired business and certain assets of Year & Day on February 26, 2021. Lifetime Brands, Inc. completed the acquisition of business and certain assets of Year & Day on February 26, 2021.

March 2022

S'well Acqusition

Founded in 2010, S’well is a global designer, wholesaler and retailer of reusable, vacuum-insulated products. It is best known for creating the first, reusable hydration fashion accessory. S’well's products can be purchased through omnichannel retail partners, specialty stores, co-branded partnership opportunities, and its own direct-to-consumer website, www.swell.com.
